Ups.
Enormes y elegantes.

Ups . I’m behind schedule with my posts . November is almost over and I have not told you about what I did in Day of the Dead ! hehe.
This year I first went to Coyoacán, where the party is always impressive. That night they were projecting a light on the main church walls with skulls and Day of the Dead motifs. Really cool . In addition to the gifts, food stalls , sweets, masquerades and parades that were out there for the ocassion.
Then we went to see the famous house offering (ofrenda) at even more famous film director El Indio Fernandez from the golden age of Mexican cinema. The house is like a fortress, with many rooms , hallways and stairs. and in that space there were so many offerings and altars, with many and varied topics and characters . I can not believe I had never visited this place before!
The next day we went to the Zocalo where the monumental offering is displayed like every year. All very nice but too many people . That night we went to the famous Pantheon of Dolores , place of the illustrious men rotonda. There rest the most remarkable men and women of Mexico . Artists , actors, scientists, politicians, military … everything. That very cold night they were projecting a famous class «B» mexican film called » Santo Vs mummies » . lol! Only in Mexico .
There were also a little musical group like a » Tuna» playing and singing among the graves . Very entertaining , and give you the opportunity to see the many niches and mausoleums . Huge and stylish .
